GoodGuys/PEAK Chicagoland Nationals- WOW!

If you're a gearhead, what's not to like about a GoodGuys show, especially the GoodGuys/PEAK Chicagoland Nationals?  It's pretty close to hot rod heaven!

Take the setting for example; it's in the infield at the Route 66 Chicagoland Speedway.  All the show corrals, the vendor displays, the swap meet, etc were where the speedway pits are located with non-contestant street rods parked in the infield grass.  It's all surrounded by the high banked mile and a half Tri-oval track and the Route 66 drag strip is right next door.

The quality of the thousands of street rods that attended was truly awesome, ranging from 6 figure show cars from the likes of Troy Trepanier and Chip Foose to some of the most turned out owner builds that you'd ever want to lay your eyes on.

And if you got tired of just looking, you could put your hot rod through it's paces at the Vintage Drags, the AutoCross or just take it for a "spin" around the Tri-oval.

Now we realize that for a lot of hot rodders attending an event like this in person is not always possible, so we decided to put together a virtual tour of the whole event (or if you did attend, you can relive it).

We were there for all 3 days of the GoodGuys/PEAK Nationals, visiting virtually every venue (even the swap meet) & have slideshows and videos on each.  We even did a 6 part mini series on Brent Jarvis of Performance Restorations chronicling his escapades with his PEAK Chevelle Muscle Car at the Drag Strip, AutoCross and the Tri-oval.
