69th Annual Grand National Roadster Show

It’s the Big Daddy, Mac Daddy yes the Grand Daddy of them all.  Formerly known as the Oakland Roadster Show, the Grand National Roadster Show is the longest running indoor car show in the world!  Yep you read that, the world!  One of the  premier events of the season, the GNRS features hundreds of incomparable hot rods, customs, muscle cars and trucks.  The quality that filled the Fairplex in Pomona was beyond compare.

Imagine if you will, buildings filled solely with Customs, Street Machines, and of course the namesake of this show of shows, Roadsters.  Magnificent, sublime, dy-na-mite, yes all that and then some!  I can see exactly why for so many of the gear headed out there, the GNRS is the ultimate car show. The best of the best gather under the warm California sun to show off and enjoy some of the finest examples of American iron out there.  For this midwestern girl, it was the epitome of a perfect car show!  Did I mention the folks were beyond nice, they were.  I could wax poetically forever about his show, but now I’m going to let the pictures do the talking.  Cast an eyeball at the primo Patriarch of hip happenings, the Grand National Roadster Show.
