The Way-Out “Wild Torquey”

Oh you ain’t seen the like of this one I guarantee it!  This one of a kind combo was built by Tinman 2 Kustoms.  This far out tow vehicle appropriately named “Wild Torquey”, is a ’31 Chevy.  It started life as a 4 door and now has just 2.  Curious about that power plant?  It’s a Cummins 12 Valve Diesel putting out roughly 800 hp and pulling 1500 ft/lbs of torque.  It can tow 14,000 pounds with a tongue weight up to 4500 pounds.  It comes as no surprise that this unconventional conveyance took 2 years to come to life.  As for the rest of this menagerie, the pickup is a ’66 with a c20 body, it’s bagged and is a daily driver.  The trailer was ordered “bare metal” , left to rust and then covered in clear coat.  These guys don’t mess around.  Basically, there is enough one-off custom detailing done to this rig to fill a book.  I can assure you there isn’t another heavy hauler like this one out there.  Yet another wonder from the SEMA show.  Now take a look for yourself at one “Wild Torquey”.

Till the next time – Keep on Kruzin!
