"The Dragons Tail"
This is our fearless leader, Bob Bennett behind the wheel of his 98' Corvette slaying the Dragon's Tail, an infamous 11 mi. stretch of insanity that's part of the Tennessee/North Carolina Highway system This is a regular stretch of road, but "hot shoes" from all over the world come with motorcycle and car to challenge their skills, tame the Dragon and make it their play ground. Not for the uninitiated or faint of heart, this little stretch has 318 turns crammed into it's short 11 miles. This video is just a little, little piece of what's in store for anyone who has the nerve, but you'll get the idea. Stay tuned at the end of the run and Bob will show you the "Tree of Shame" a collection of pieces and parts from some of the less fortunate attempts at taming the Dragon. ...Enjoy

I think I saw a Kawasaki H1 or H2 sitting at the gas pump when you first turn off the road. Hope you bought it!

Trees gotten fuller since I was last there, did you get to stop at ZDAYZ?

im confused.. does turning right turn on his wipers 😂

Nice drive..

Hey B, this is Bud....nice post and driving. Come on back down and run the Gap again sometime, guaranteed good time!!

Only bad thing is the 30 MPH speed limit and the sherif police sitting on the way sides.

That's how he drives down my street every day! Cool video Bob!

Been there done that several times

The video you're about to see was filmed at Bennett Coachworks. It was written by and features one of our own multi talented, top techs, Jim Stevens and was filmed by his brother Nate. It's a really good film with a cool story and proof that Jim is just as talented whether working on your car or working on a film, So, please enjoy.....

Wow Bob ! Awesome film ! Mostly what I get out of this film is that it is complimenting people who create with their hands ... and not just cars ... all types of creativity. That's just my personal take on it. Very subtly touching on Bennett Coachworks ... very humble. And just enough emphasis on the builder. I think it's a very creative film.

My wife and I met Mr Bennet at the old Hunnert Car Pile Up in Morris, Il. He invited us to his shop in Milwaukee and gave us the tour with some wonderful stories. A 1st class guy.

I'm privileged to have Jim working on my'57 Chevy. He's doing a great job!
