Profile

Kevin Oeste and his V8 Speed and Resto Shop did it in reverse. It started with a TV show, the widely popular "V8TV", where they would build one ride at a time just for the show. The show became so popular people began hunting them down wanting the crew to build them their own dream rides.

To meet that demand they had to build their own shop. They did, in "tee-niny" little Red Bud Illinois of all places (no big city distractions to side track their maniacal pursuit of gearhead perfection!); the shop took off and the rest is history. The V8 Speed and Resto Shop now specializes in complex repairs, restorations and performance upgrades to muscle and classic cars. They stand behind their slogan "We can revive your ride," offering services that range from chassis and engine swaps, fabrication, pro touring treatments, body and paint, rust repair, superchargers, turbochargers, you name it, anything to breath new life into your ride. V8 Speed and Resto can do it for you and do it well.

Proof positive: their rides have been featured at SEMA, the Trans Am Nationals, the Muscle Car Nationals, in addition to garnering numerous magazine covers and nationals awards. Heck if V8 Speed and Resto builds your dream, who knows, you might be featured on V8TV and the whole world will see your ride!

This 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport is sporting a super-rare 396 engine, known as RPO code L78. This one was advertised at 425 HP, and it’s backed by a 4-speed manual transmission! How many 4-speed L78 convertibles are left? We don’t know… maybe 5? This is a great ride from The Brothers Collection, and we remind you to watch to the end… you won’t regret it!

The AAR is a favorite of mine. The side exhaust, louvers and hood pins make this car so cool. Although '71 'Cuda is best 't make a even if they didn't make an AAR.

Nice!

Love that Caprice.

1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Muscle Car Of The Week Video Ep...
There is a lot going on with the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for ‘71, not the least of which is how cool the car looks. Pontiac engineers really did their homework to help make sure these cars could still offer high performance in spite of impending regulations that would otherwise choke the bird out. From The Brothers Collection. Like Muscle Car Of The Week for more videos!
