Lawdy lawdy; goodness gracious; howdy doody and a hefty dose of me oh my! The GoodGuys 24th Heartland Nationals is beyond compare. Record breaking attendance, 400 acres filled with fine American automotive know-how, picture perfect weather and all over the 4th of July weekend. Let me catch my breath. Friends, it just really doesn’t get any better. You know I’ve got to admit I had a bit of a moment Saturday, it was noon on the 4th of July, I was in the middle of over 4,000 classics, customs and rods standing with thousands of proud Americans for the National Anthem , it was just something else; quintessential America and I loved it. We’ve got it going on. GoodGuys, they too have it going on and on and on. Did I mention, the fireworks, live music and the fair food, oh the food they can put on a stick.
