Doesn’t work ?
When the car don't Start😐
Harvey V King
My guess is when it won't start? Actually had to replace my battery yesterday.
Your car won't start.
When your car doesn’t start!
I thought I needed a new battery, and I needed a new alternator and battery.
My husband bought a new car battery today. Now this is in my news feed. Tell me that's not odd. Facebook knows how to make $$$ off us!
I just replaced mine after I had the one before for 4 years. Car was still starting to lol. Figured it was time 😂. Took it in to get tested and sure enough it needed to be replaced. Especially before the -30 below weather we had in the midwest. I dont think that battery would of lasted threw that lol
My battery lasted 12 years. It finally died this summer. Thank goodness it wasn't in the middle of the Polar Vortex.
I bet a lot of people found out
I know when I am told at my oil change if I need a new one.
When i needed a jump yesterday and then again today. I know i need a new battery cause the guy who jumped it said they don't even make that battery anymore lmao
We're replacing our battery today. Found out it is located under the back passenger seat.
Recently got a battery from NTB. It lasted two weeks and failed at -20. They tried everything they could to blame the cold weather on the problem. Funny that most cars with much older batteries were starting, how come a 2 week old battery could not do the trick. Finally jumped the car and got it to them. Yes at that point they had no other option than to agree with me that they sold me a bad battery and replaced it.
You do a voltage/load test. Then you test the charging system.
I got 5 late model Mustangs all with Optima's and as soon as it gets below 40 degrees here they all died. Charge them back up all died well 2 wouldn't even charge so I am going to get 5 Interstate's
We know you've all taken off work today to celebrate National Battery Day with us, but we'd ask that you take time out of your festivities to top off the charge on your car battery with a quality battery charger or maintainer. ... See MoreSee Less
when optima talks about national battery day as if it's not a federal holiday today
I own and have used both the 400 and 1200 chargers and really love their performance. Prior to using their charger, I would sometimes run into the issue he mentioned when an optima was extremely low and you’d have to “trick” a conventional charger into seeing that a battery was hooked up.
I’ve seen several posts where owners have been unhappy with the life of optima batteries. I’ve used nearly two dozen in projects for clients with no issues. I’m a believer that battery maintenance is key to achieving that. They are also backing that up by offering an extra year of warranty if you buy a charger and battery at the same time👍🏻
Is it normal for my redtop to rest at 12volts?. after charging it it stays at around 12.5-12.3v then in like 5 minutes drops to 12.0v even 11.8v
Congratulations to OPTIMA-sponsored angler, Edwin Evers on his first Major League Fishing #BassProTour win last weekend! What a week, what a blessing🙏. Sincerely thank you everyone for the support and Major League Fishing for the platform. 🎣🐟🏆 ... See MoreSee Less
Tried to use the promotional code Monday night and the website would not take the code. Emailed customer support. No answer. Called and was told the code has ended but the screen shot I have does not have a start or stop date. Called customer service and was told too bad. I will remember that comment when I purchase my next batteries. I have 6 blue tops in two different boats, 2 red tops in my truck, a red top in my car and a red top in my wife’s SUV.
My farm and fleet battery went 14 years . Daily driver in Wisconsin in 97 Ranger.
7 years. I usually have my battery quit when I am not home. Last one was at a rest area 3 am on my way home. Had to call roadside assistance for a jump.
6 year at the most And then change you don’t want to be quiet and rest stop at three in the morning
Depends on whether it's a northern or southern battery!
Perfect storm last week for my 2015 Honda CRV. A passenger had turned off my dome light and I had left the garage door open in temps that ranged to zero at night. I cannot see my garage from inside the house, so I didn't know I had done it. The gas was very low, which was my own fault. And I did not know that my on-star type device and stereo drain batteries.
Luckily the car was at home, the tech came quickly, and he had everything he needed with him, including enough gas to get me to the service station.
I have a new battery now and plan to take good care of it.
Replaced the original battery in my 08 Silverado HD two months ago, and just did my 15 Subaru Forester yesterday.
Depends on if you got a Monday battery or a Friday battery 😆😂✊
It depends how many times you use you’re battery.
Arizona they only last 2 years
When the old one dies.
All mine last about 5 years here in wis
When the old one don’t work no more
If the car doesn't turn over you need a new battery, simple.
Vehicles that have the battery in the trunk will last 3 years longer .
Whenever the old one gives up. Hopefully not when it's 10 below zero like mine did recently. BTW it was about 6 years that it lasted. Not bad for Minnesota.
My car has had battery as old as car , it's an 07
Our 2004 Dodge pickup has 51k miles on its original battery.
When the one you have keeps dying and you have to jump start your car / van extra...
How often? Immediately after your current one fails....
We've watched a lot of people offer very poor advice on how to determine if your battery needs to be replaced. The real answer is pretty straightforward- get it tested by a battery professional. ... See MoreSee Less
I don’t know what happen I purchased my first red top Optima battery and in less than a year it went out.. napa tried recharging it but still the battery is dead..I heard so much good things about it and that’s the reason I purchased it for my 82 Corvette it didn’t go so well.. i’m just letting you know my experience.. Went back and purchase a NAPA battery..
I bought a new one, 3 months later it went dead, i have to returned it for exchange, of course arguing with the vendor from Auto Zone on Western Ave. It costed over $300 for my Jeep Wrangler 2014
I use mine for both cranking and deep cycle. No issues at all. Over night I have a fridge in the car that averages .5 amps per hour. Jeep starts every day. It’s been on this cycle for a year now.
Do these fit WK1's as well?
Going on 3yrs with my red top in my JKU. Never an issue
My issue is y no side post. Jeeps need side posts for electrical other wise y by the optima battery. U can see optima battery in wifes jeep with winch, audio, and 9 KC lights hooked to it. Other wise i would just buy a regular battery from walmart. I pay the extra money for the extra things.
Love to have one in my 07 SRT8 Magnum but no availability...
Putting a yellow top in my 66 mustang this spring guess ill see how it works.
For a 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL, would the yellow H6 be the correct fit for the application?
