Wild Wes Paintworks Custom Coupe

Wes Adkins of Wild Wes Paintworks turned up the heat when he created this one of a kind coupe that debuted at SEMA this year.  The “Wild” Man took out all the stops on this build.  This ’32 is custom from the Mickey Thompsons on up.  The rock solid foundation comes from a Roadster Shop chassis with a 4 wheel coil over independent suspension.  I can only hazard a guess that the nickname “Torq’d” comes from the Twin TorqStorm supercharged 5.3L LS that gives this coupe it’s get up and go.  This “Torq’d” ride sports Trick Flow heads with a roller cam and rockers.  A Cyclone 4L60E tranny, dual 650 AED carbs, a Holley Sniper intake, Wilwood brakes and a Heidts rear diff round out the oh so high points of this ride.  On the outside of this beast of a build; the body lines have been smoothed, the top was chopped and a custom scoop added.  The crowning glory of this fierce Ford is the custom paint work done by the “Wild” Man himself.  Wes has practiced his craft since childhood and showcased his painting prowess beautifully on this SEMA build.  Take a gander for yourself, this is one rip-roarin’ “Wild” ride.

Here’s quick walk around, focusing on the details of this bad to the bone build.

Till the next time – Keep on Kruzin!
